The ADRS 2023 National Competition was held on August 20th at the Queensland Conservatorium and the winner of the Peter Musson Memorial Prize for best performance on bassoon was Hayden Mears. Hayden will soon be touring to Singapore, Austria and Germany with the Queensland Youth Symphony Orchestra, remaining in Germany to take lessons and a masterclass with Dag Jensen.
